    According to International's Website

you do not need a CDL, but they tell you to check your local laws.

I also find it amusing that in the photo on the International website, they show one of these monsters hauling a 4 wheel ATV. I guess it's better than showing one full of groceries.
  • good eye

I've been going to the fair since the parking lot was the track infield. It sure has gotten large.

I like the old equipment, the lawn mowers and garden tractors, and that big binder truck. This guy is my cousin, he showed the truck to me.

    I can just picture...

somebody driving one of these things, 2 inches from my rear bumper at 70 mph, yapping on the cell phone, screaming at the kids, putting on makeup, just like the one in the Lincoln monster SUV was doing this morning! What's next? Abrams Tanks? Lord have mercy on us Road Warriors! "It's like D-day out on the Free-way...I wanna crawl back under my log"!(Song lyrics by Micheal Franks). Just MHO!

    Too big, ride too hard

You probably have to put a couple of tons of stuff in it to smooth it out over the bumps. Lots of bumps in Brooklyn. I don't even like driving a 350. A 250 is a little heavy for me. And who wants to climb up and down into that thing 10 times a day? I climb enough ladders and stairs as it is. Nice view from the cab though. Be smooooooothh. Ahhhh.

I'll see if I can find it but

There was an interesting article about those super SUV's that most are classed more than 5 tons and business use for tax reasons, but are driven in residential neighborhoods where the limit on the street is 5 tons.
I'll post it if I find it again
