  • conversion fittings?

I had the same idea. I am looking into using a european boiler in canada (i'm checking into regulatory issues). The boiler has 22mm fittings.

Shouldn't someone make conversion fittings for metric to imperial piping?

  • solar panels from the U.K.

are what I'm hooking up. I can't buy any conversion fittings from the local suppliers or the solar panel mfgr. The panel manufacturer told me to tighten the 3/4" down on the 22 mm pipe. or to use the 22 mm fittings supplied with the panels and sand down the 3/4" copper till it fits into the 22 mm compression fittings. with the anti-freeze in the system I am worried about leaks. I think I would use the 22 mm fitting's supplied and shave down the copper. If you use L-copper you shouldn't run into any issue with to thin a wall. I would just be concerned with trying to crank a 3/4 fitting on there...worried it would strip...just my 2 cent's..:)
