I dont exactly know if im usuing the correct terminology ,but i think its a well pump(flowtec).Well i have one in the basement at my house and the purifier that is conected to it has sprung a leak at the bottom. Now the purifier has valves on it so i could isolate it and stop the water from leaking all over the floor is it okay that i do this untill i can find out how to repair this problem?

flowtec is the brand name, they have several types of pumps.
I'm not a well person but I don't see why you can't isolate the purifier to stop the leak. I'd probaly not drink the water until I replaced it.
