Pennco = Dunkirk?

We found a Pennco model 1609HSD gas boiler installed as badly as anyone ever saw. The installer obviously didn't know a 2-pipe steam system from a sweet potato and made every installation error possible - including setting the pressuretrol to 4# off - 2# back on.
The installer also attempted to drive a single 45MBTU CIBB loop with a completely improper circulator hanging from the steam chest and a condensate return point.
In researching this unit, the website implies Dunkirk is Pennco - or at least did the castings. It also has no reference to Pennco still being in existence. Are they still in business?
My question is, does the model 1609HSD have a tankless coil opening in the block? I didn't want to disturb the mess around the cabinet to look for the tell-tale outline of a knock-out; and see so few of this brand and model, that I thought one of you guys might know where an installation or owner's manual might be downloaded - or off he top of your head - whther that model was cast with the tankless opening or not.
Thanks!

Give Dinkirk a call
Pennco is a part of ECR, Dunkirk's parent company. Tech is 1 877-386-5475...ask for Mark Z. or Bob Welch.
