Leaking threaded fitting

This is a pretty mundane query....
I replaced a section of steam piping (supply/return) for a steam radiator last year and unfortunately one of the fittings is leaking ever so slightly. Does anyone have suggestions on products that might be used to fix this leak. Unfortunately the leak is pretty far in and to dismantle and repipe would be a project.
Thanks

did you use a thread sealant when you did the repiping and make sure the the male and female threads were both clean?0 -
clean threads?
threads were nice and clean (freshly cut with new die), brushed both the male and female threads, used pipe dope, and a pretty reasonable sized pipe wrench. by the way, this is a 1 1/2" connection.
