I could use some help finding out the input of an HB Smith natural gas, G300 steam boiler with 9 Sections. I think this is an older model than the current GB300.

Hey Dan, I think I can be of some assistance on this one. That boiler is indeed out of production. The AGA ratings for this one are an input of: 600,000 BTUs and an output of: 480,000 BTUs. I=B=R Net ratings of 1,500 square feet of steam and 360,000 BTUs. It ran a standard 1" Natural gas train. The original STEAM water capacity is 41 gallons. (Water boiler held 54 gallons) The complete boiler itself weighs 1987 lbs. The cool thing if you are replacing this one is that its construction was NOT push nipples. The old seals were Chlorobutyl and are EASY to remove these sections. And the sections are not heavy to move either. Just over 200 lbs. each. Hope this helps you and you can use this
