Beware, I downloaded SBC/Yahoo dial up from the internet and got blessed with a Trojan Horse virus. I was running Norton at the time and it caught most of it.......... but, it still left my good new computer unusable.

SBC assured me DSL was available in my area. I switched from my server that I had for 6 yrs.. They even cancelled my old company for me. The day before the DSL was supposed to be hooked up they called and said they were sorry, it was not available after all.


After many hours trying to "save" my computer I had to take it to the local computer hospital, exploratory surgery is scheduled for tomorrow.

Word to the wise, wait for them to send you a disk, don't download. I called the cable TV people and I am on the list to get hooked up for high speed cable modem. Had to dig the old computer out of mothballs and dust her off.
