Hey guys,
Just wondering how you guys drain and fill your boilers particually those with the old style expansion tanks and how do you guys fill your boilers when there is no pressure gauge

No gauge?
I wouldn't fill a boiler w' no gauge any more than I would pour a cup of coffee w' my eyes closed. There should definitely be a tridicator. Temp* pressure and altitude.
How would you know if the temp* ran away, or the boiler was over pressurized? Do yourself a favor and get a gauge installed, then we'll talk about filling!0
