Anyone have any experience with this boiler? I am interested inyour thoughts. Looks like a nice unit for radiant systems. Feed back please if you have any.

    YES!

I'm very impressed w' this boiler. Have had great success w' the whole line of Q boilers from dunkirk. No need for a bypass cuz it can handle low return water temp*.

    Dunkirk

Always liked this boiler, and it seems they have solved the hot surface igniter problems they were having.

It seems they have the bugs worked out now. They were having trouble with core shift from the foundry, porosity, etc. We installed one last season and had to relocate the pressure switches above the sight glass to keep the condensate from fouling the pressure switches, but if they have these issues corrected, we'll install many more. I have proposals for about 8 of them when they are re-introduced. Luke

    Dunkirk

How does the Dunkirk ( q series) fear against the mighty munchkin ?.

    Not modulating

and cheaper I'd assume. The Quantum Leap model has a wild boiler water cooled secondary heat exchanger that claims to push the efficency over 95% on radiant systems. The eap only comes in one 100K size though.
