    Could you

Build on this template and I could revise it? I was losing clarity on your drawing.

I was having trouble following your diagram I think only because of the graph paper. I didn't see a true Primary loop setup so I took my liberties. Is this a close representation? Let me know and I would be glad to follow up on the wiring side. I didn't see individual circs for the radiant floor zones so I put them in a reverse return setup but that would have to be balanced as well.

Thanks Paul, I wasnt expecting any help on that. I know it came out lousy with the graph paper. I would like one of those programs that you use.
The boiler is a W/M cga-7, so I understand that it does not need a primary loop.(hope thats true).
So there is no primary loop for all the zones. It is set up direct return for the DHW and rads and I made the last supply/return a primary loop for the Taco RMB-1.

    Well......

The CGA is not a condensing boiler so we need a minimum of 130°F inlet water. I like to see primarysecondary piping on any boiler (with few exceptions). At the minimum, I would like to see a boiler-by pass loop. I have the Weil-McLain Engineering CD-ROM. I will email the PDF file for the CGA boiler direct to you since it is a pretty large file. It states (in so many words) when you have some low temp demands in the system, be careful of low inlet temps. The RMB is a great little package that can provide for the radiant zones, but I would opt for another Tekmar control like a 260 to reset the boiler temp for mild temp days, again I would put the DHW on priority and ramp up the boiler temp to satisfy that load.

    see my thread on software

    Ted,

You need a copy of Microsoft Visio to make the pretty drawings, which could be up for auction if you say the word!

    shamelessly, jerry

    Weil Mclain &RMB-1

I am interested in this taco RMB-1.
Are there any other schematics of sample systems out there?
Ted, Did your system work out?

    RMB

Turning up a new system with 2 RMB's fed from a GV-6 Weil Mc
Boiler, everything is plumbed like all of the diagrams that we can
find. The manifolds indicate that we are getting 1/2 gal per minute
thru each loop. Can feel the temp difference between the supply
and the return, but the RMB system pump seems to be running
very hot, is this normal. Hotter than the supply feed. Using glycol
in the system which is denser and harder to push. Any ideas.
