I am installing a Buderus gas boiler ( G124/25 ) some of the wiring has me confused.
The x1 and x2 on the Taco 503 controller connect to the T and TV terminals on the aquastat.There is another pair of wires connected from T and TV to terminals 10 and 11 of the Buderus 2107 controller. Is this correct? Another question. A second chrome well is in the packing for the 2701. The well in the boiler looks likes it’s chrome. Is this well to be replaced with the new well? I plan to call tech support Monday. I would like to progress as much as possible on the week end. Thanks

    The Buderus 2107 is an outdooor reset control. The 2107 controls the firing of the burner (connecting end switch wires from the relay board defeats purpose of outdoor reset). The 2107 senses the outdoor temperature and based on the reference temperature programed a boiler water temperature is determined.

    The G124X,GA124 and GA244 series boiler have the chrome well for the 2107 control installed at the factory. The spacers in the chrome well and the sleeves on the two bulb sensors from the 2107 have to be removed. The chrome well should contain the bulb from the aquastat and three sensors from the 2107 control.

    On page five of the 2107 "Service Manual" the sensor bundle installation is explained for the different boiler models. In the back of the "Service Manual" are some wiring diagrams with regards to the 2107 to gas boilers and to oil burner wiring.
