Hartford loop?

When mesuring for Hartford loop conection do you place the CENTER of the 1 1/4" loop at 2" below the normal waterline, or should the whole loop be 2" below. The Burham manual makes it look like the center of the loop is at 2" below.
( which puts 5/8ths of the loop above 2" and 5/8ths below 2")

If Burnham calls for 2" ,its the TOP of the loop that need to be 2" below the water line.Is your equalizer 1-1/2"? Not sure if any manufacturers call for 1-1/4". Check your minimum pipe sizes per spec.0 -
Equaliser is 2" but loop is 1 1/4"0 -
