I was vacationing this week in the great "Up North" when I saw a clever way to advertise an outdated business.
First of all, picture a miniature golf course that has "run its course." It is old, the green outdoor carpet is worn out, the concrete "roadblocks" are falling apart, and the amusing distractions are tired and old, paint chipping, etc.
That was the look of the miniature golf course with the following description on the fading sign out front:
"1950's-style miniature golf"
Clever way to state the obvious.
