I'll be donating a "classic" '69 Ford F-100 to the wetstock auction. Not sure it will get any bids but it will be a great restoration project for the right person. My problem is this; I need to take and post some pics but have limited computer abilities. Is there anyone between Rutherford N.J. and the beach(Jersey coast) who would be able to help me do that? I could either meet you In Rutherford where the truck is OR drop the pics off directly. If anyone can help me out here I would be forever grateful. I could e-mail you with my phone # ect to get the ball rolling. Thanks in advance.

To be honest, I took it off the road about 2 years ago and it been garage kept. The body need some work but its by no means a lost cause. It was a running machine when I backed it into the spot its in now There were two motors for that truck, a 240 hp and a 300 hp. Both 6 cylinders. Its got the 300(original motor),clean, w/ a three speed on the tree. Its also got a utilty body which has seen its share of boiler work. But it too isnt in terrible condition either w/ a diamondplate floor. DO NOT GET ME WRONG HERE, the truck needs work. A local industrial supplier has been hot for years to get his hands on this truck to restore for parades and such since it definately gives the appearance of a working truck. He loves it almost as much as I do. He has offered me $1500.00 in the past, but hes got $$$ to burn to do a body off restoration.Thats his intention(and mine) The truck IS NOT for sale, but I recognize the opportunity to possibly help someone who could really use it. I have a roof over my head, great wife and two super kids, where some people arent so lucky. This is strictly a donation to help the cause here. Its not about the money. Its got sentimental value so it will be tough to part with. I got my start in this business driving this truck. What I would like to see is for someone to take interest in a restoration project and maybe send me a photo or so along the way. Again, it needs work, but it was going to be a retirement project. Or give me something to do once the kids are grown and out. Until today I NEVER considered parting with it.But thats the power of Dan. He has helped me more than I could ever help him so maybe its time to start repaying him in some small way. I'm a little choked up here thinking about parting w/ this truck. I'm not sure I'll be able to be around when and if it finally goes. Most would probably consider it a POS, but not me.Theres alot to be said for sentimentality( is that a word?) Anyway thats it, Post anymore questions and I'll keep my eyes open.I gotta go blow my nose.0 -
