I remember read in one of Dan's books that radiant plex tube breaks it's O2 vapor bearier if you use duct tape on it, Is this still true? Lately I have take to some plumbers and manifactors customer servics reps that say you should duct tape your radiant tube to the floor and I see it being duct taped back into rolls being sent to the Job.
Thanks

I beleive we were told at Viega-NA that the glue in the duck tape(or possibly any tape) would adversly effect the tubing.
I dont know if its true though.0 -

yes,
duct tape is a no-no. If I need to store away 1/2 rolls of tube I save the box. Protects it from scrapes and UV too. kpc

radiant tube
Radiant tube has adverse affects to petroleum based products. I use plastic zip ties for storing tube.0
