Can anyone direct me to more info on the drop header piping? It may be just what I need to give me a calm water line on a new replacement boiler just going in.
Also, just placed the boiler sections together and during the pressure test....drip..drip between the sections not all but 5 out of 11 any suggestions?
Regards,

did you follow torque specs using a torque wrench set to proper ft/lbs?All seals between each sect in place? Its a start.

    Thanks for the reply
I used the hydraulic rams and only set one to the stack at a time. The odd thing is it's the first 5 not the last six.

    level?Torqued?

Is the block "riding the rails" as we like to say here where I work? In other words, is the block sitting on a level platform or steel skids? It actually happened to us one time. We had a less than adequate foundation that we thought we leveled. We had some trouble lining up a sect.but finally did(we thought). Coincidentally, it was the sect b4 that one that leaked. We checked each sect. with a feeler gauge as per install instruction, torqued to proper ft/lbs,leveled (we thought)But still slight drip. I hate pulling stuff back apart. Maybe if I wasnt up so darn early everyday I'd be able to think more clearly. You're an earlybird yourself(3:16 a.m.?) Were you still up or just getting up? I head to work early.
