we are now into our second summer of unusual dryness and heat. it has been hovering betwixt 25 and 33C for the better part of 2 months. todays high is 27C. the 14 day forecast is for an average of about 21C. kinda nice to know how you guys down south have felt for many summers!

Fall is Knocking
Like it or not, the season is changing. Might as well , we didn't have much of a summer in the first place. Right now my weather station says 49.3* and the boob tube guys are saying into the 30's tonight. Big ole Canadian high pressure overhead, you can see the Milky Way from horizon to horizon.
The tree swallows left a week ago, there are sugar maples begining to turn color, Andy and Matt brought home fresh salmon from the river last night and we're already doing no-heats. What happened to the dog days of summer?0 -
I don't know how far north you are but we had no heats already here on the Jersey shore a week ago or so. At this rate we'll probably be doing a/c in January. Nature of the beast I guess.0 -
No No No
NNNooooooo No No No
I am not listening nanahhhehehe .....
Days go by so fast, I want more summer.

Yup
I have one Maple that has shed most of it's leaves, but it's a small one
Last week at Scout Camp it was 41 one morning.0 -
Please STOP!
I'm with Scott on this one.I still plan on shorts till at least the end of September, unlike Murph, who won't stop till late Feb.
The temp. is 72° this morning, and it's jungle humid as usual, so I refuse to buy into this for a while. Chris0 -
Cooling off
Here in Georgia, it was 55° this morning. I heard on the radio that we are setting near-record and record lows for this time of year.
Kinda makes you wonder how the winter will be?

Thats ok with me
Warm days, cool nights. Clear skies and bright colors. My yard looks best in the fall. Customers spirits are better in the fall when you do no heat calls. There isn't the worry the house will freeze. I also like the change from servicing a/c to heat. Unfortunately we had alot less a/c service this year.
A little fall will make me want snow.
A little snow will make me want spring
A little spring will make me want summer
