    You have my vote

We don't need lights up here in Anchorage. Sun stays up until around 11:30pm during June. We once (our local softball association) hosted a solstice marathon softball game. Started on Friday around 6pm and went continuous (rotating teams thru in 1 hour increments) until Sunday around 3pm. Don't recall the score, or who won, but it was pretty high. Saturday nite was cloudy got a little hairy around 1am, but we made it through.

Hope you win the lights. The kids will love it.

Maybe you already have it worked out, but in case you haven't. There is a company in a town about 50 miles from where I live. The company is MUSCO Lighting in Oskaloosa, Iowa. They do the lighting for the olympics, and many other sporting events. Really big time players. They also provided all the emergency lighting for th 911 twin towers clean-up. Around here the sell lighting for little league ball fields at a big discount. Whether they would do the same for you, I don't know, but it might be worth a shot...
