I looked at an old bryant boiler yesterday. I always perform a heat loss on a building , but sometimes you cannot verify insulation. someone painted over the boiler tag and i did not do a meter revolution count. The boiler is a bryant NOTO 11 , sn 40022 boiler #8n4. This came off the big manufactures plate. any suggestions on this boilers size.

Ps , Im a 1st time user to this site, its great.

Thanks, andy

I looked at an old bryant boiler yesterday. I always perform a heat loss on a building , but sometimes you cannot verify insulation. someone painted over the boiler tag and i did not do a meter revolution count. My heat loss tells me 180,000 btu , and i was wondering what the ratings were for this boiler and am unable to find it in the boiler ratings. The boiler is a bryant NOTO 11 , sn 40022 boiler #8n4. This came off the big manufactures plate. any suggestions on this boilers size.

    Can you take a picture

and post it here? The "Hydronic Rating Handbook" (not the one in the Library section of this site) has pics of a lot of Bryants, so this may identify the basic model series. Clocking the meter will help too.

Is this a steam or hot-water unit?
