Heat Pump
Are you in an area where the heat pump would be used to take the chill off on a cool morning?(Southern state)
Freon doesn't move well with low temps., thats why we have
devices like ori/ord valves, headmasters, cycling fans,
louvers, etc.. I am in the Northeast and there are a lot of them in condos. I hear some of them have an electric heat
back up. For my own personal use I would spend twice the
amount not to use a H.P.. Only my opinion!!!!!!

Consider hydronics
Sure it costs a bit more to install, but if done right you can't beat the comfort and efficiency.
You couldn't pay me to live with a heat pump.
