Need to find out age of boiler

I have a Peerless Boiler that I need to find out what the age of it is. The only records I can find say the boiler in our house was replaced in 1947 but our boiler looks more like a 1970s style. Is there anyway I can find out the age of the boiler? I could not find a model # on the outside of it.
Thanks

Can you take a picture
of the boiler and post it here ? Someone can probably identify which model and what years it was produced , to give you a general idea . Maybe in the off chance the previous owner or install company filled out the warantee card , you can call Peerless and see if your address is listed with them .
I don't believe Peerless stamped their sections with a date code , so the tag could be the only way to identify the year . If there's an oil burner or you have circulators , you can look on them to see if theres a date code - presuming they're all original equipment .0
