    Only From Acquaintances

Is this a punitive possibility or desire for a good, disciplined, private education?

Ones that I knew were sent for punishment/control. I was probably pretty close myself, but I joined the Marines on my own before wasting my parent's money at college for me to party, ace the classes I liked and blow off the rest.

Guys I knew who went seem to have come out much better. Usually still a bit wild, but nowhere near as reckless and self-destructive. The ones that I still know of are in good jobs--by now often running/owning the family business.

Others who didn't (but should have) who managed to terrorize their parents didn't fare so well. A few are behind bars. One is in management in the asbestos abatement "industry" (or is that "racket") and does very well when not in detox. Others who didn't but whose parents could have afforded are chronically unemployed or in menial jobs still sponging off of their parents.

If sending for the good, disciplined private education, I think you should choose the school very carefully.

The proof is in the pudding,

this school saved a friend's son's life, that is a fact! He is now a model person and gentlemen flying jets in Iraq for the USAF, don't believe everything you hear about these schools, they do save lives, families and careers.

Isn't it interesting that those of us that condemn things don't really know the facts, hmmmmm?????? (Self included).
