the maint guys have to check all the plumbing - they're flushing everything in advance of Thursday's opening game. New urinals have been added to allievate the waiting times.

Man, I'd love to tag along with that plumbing crew during a sell-out game to see what they face during crunch time.

Who's radiant tubing lies under that field? Anybody here know???

    Radiant tube

If we are talking about the Raven's Memorial Stadium, it is Wirsbo. See the attached link

    radinat @ M&T Bank Stadium

is no longer used! That's right, they switched to the artifically grass last season to save the estimated $500k for turf replacement 3 times every year!

I did not realize they were doing to complete flush again. They did it before the stadium opened and got a lot of volunteers to lend a hand. :-)

1st playoff game is tomorrow night! Hopefully they will have a good season and stay injury free for a while... amd maybe get a QB that can get more TDs than INTs!!!!

    Steam estimate

I went on a steam boiler replacement estimate a block from our shop. The man I met with was late & said he'd been detained at work. Turned out, he's the head of maint for both the Ravens and Oriole Park Stadiums! Baltimore has had a hard time keeping up with the water demands & his crews were busy ensuring all was in good working order. He said he'd see about letting me tag along with the plumbing crew during a game sometime this season.
