NEW VIRUS WARNING
is the best size to reduce it to ? I generally reduce mine to 600 pixels wide by 800 long , but with different screen resolutions from computer to computer , this setting might be too large ?

NEW VIRUS WARNING
Today I've received 3 emails marked "price" from Wheels, Scott Milne and a name I didn't recognize. I know you guys didn't send this on purpose, so everybody be careful and delete any "price" related emails from Wallies. Update your Norton & McAfee! This appears to be the latest mutation of "mydoom" from a couple weeks ago.0 -
me too
I started using my "real" e-mail address last week, and after three months with absolutely ZERO of these annoying notices and emails, they are back with a VENGANCE!!!! This is the only website I use a fake address at. I'm going back to using it, now that I KNOW which website is filling my computer with garbage.
I apparently just sent a virus to Buderus, and their software caught it.
Thanks for supporting us, Invision. We discussed this MONTHS ago, and it was determined that Invision isn't going to help stop it.
what to do.....

Doing the best I can, Noel.
Invision hid the email address and this is the first problem we've had in months. I don't recall anyone saying that we weren't going to help. I'm spending a lot of money here. Doing the best I can, Noel.Retired and loving it.0 -
Was it in a zip file?
With a price.html and a sub folder called price containing a price.exe ?0 -
virus
I recieved three of these today. The attachment was price.zip .
My Norton antivirus usually does pretty good but missed these - going to run the update right now.0 -
Has Invision given any more thought to
the "bleeding" borders issue?
Ya know, someone posts a picture with full size jpg file and the borders blow out of the entire thread?
Just curious. I tried to limit page width on my end to no avail.

This appears to be one of those worms
that harvests e-mail addresses from the Outlook Express address book of an infected computer.
How do I know this? Because I didn't send Ken the virus-laden e-mail he got. My computers were turned off at that time.
McAfee is now updated on all three of my systems, and Norton is updated on The Lovely Naoko's computer, and everything checks clean. We're protected here! BTW, we don't use Outlook Express.

Best thing
is to reduce the size of the photo before posting. That's what I do. I use Ulead software to do this. Or just don't click on the photo to display with the post. Leave it as an attachment. I usually edit posts that have oversized photos to put them back as attachments. A simple click brings them up on the Wall. The Wall runs on licensed software (through Invision, but Invision is not the owner) and can't be changed. It is what it is, Ken.Retired and loving it.0 -
Its just
a cold sore !
I have gotten the "price" one also.
Scott

Same here
My 'price' email came from someone in the Sid Harvey organization. Not only is there not a Sid Harvey in my area, but I don't know anyone with their company.
Mine too came as a zip file and through OutLook Distress(express). I didn't open the zip file, but Norton let it (the zipped virus) through. I almost wonder if Norton would have caught it if I had treid to open it.

I received the 'price' e-mail virus this morning as well, and Norton did not catch it. Fortunately the sender used my home e-mail address as the 'from' address, sending it to my work address. It was early this morning-but not that early- when it was received, and promptly deleted. To bad these folks can apply their free time to something positive.0
