high-tank toilets

Went to a call today where the customer wanted to restore his leaking high tank toilet.. the current one has got a leaking fill and flush valve. Found the curtain fill valve w/ no problems from watertown supply, but can't seem to locate the flush valve. It's by yankee manufacturing and unlike the common douglas fill valve, this one has gott an 1 1/2 flush tube connection. The douglas that I found @ watertown has got a 2" tube connection (which means making the hole in the copper pan and wooden tank bigger,IE; my last resort)
So, I'm basically wondering if anyone out there knows of any good supply houses around who may carry yankee flush valves??

    DON'T KNOW IF THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE BUT WE ALMOST NEVER CHANGED PARTS ON HIGH TANKS--SIMPLY REPLACED COMPLETE TANK . N.Y.C. PLUMBER

    flush valve?

    Can't you just resurface the valve seat. Sand it down and try it.,,Robert O'Connor/NJ
