    I was in Maine working this week and last and read an article in the Portland paper about these. It seems that a majority of the auto parts stores are selling their socks off with these and they are NOT street legal. The Portland Police have been dealing with these things being ridden by teens and younger in traffic everywhere and are looking at passing an ordinance to deal with them. From the wordage in the article, they have been dealing with hundreds of kids riding these every week. I've seen them in the past but usually only at the track as a "pit bike" to get around on.

    A young kid in NYC

    died on one last week. He was running from the police. Tragic.

    I see they have mini "pocket" motocrossers now also. Looks like a fun, affordable way to get into racing.
