Anyone know of an online reference for the basic installation of Haydon 750 baseboards? And/or tips or pictures for installing the same in rooms with wainscoting?
Thanks!

We sell some Haydon commercial product, such as the 1200 and 1400 series. I have basic literature showing rough in information on their 750 product, but nothing elaborate.
Try their website at www.2haydon.com to see if there might be more ot help you there. If not, call Eileen at the factory, 1.800.242.9366. She is very helpful.0 -
Not much help...at first
I was typing up some scathing remarks about Hayden when one of their factory people (David Cohen?) returned a message I left this morning.
He gave me the basic rundown on installation (baseboards 101) and a few tips to avoid problems.
One last dilemma I havn't solved yet is how to run the baseboards along walls where I intend to install wainscoting. From what I've heard, the elements are either attached directly to the wallboard(with millwork trimmed in around the element), or the millwork is installed first and the element is attached to the face of the baseboard.
I'm renovating my home and the walls are gutted, so I have either option open at the moment. However I'm having trouble picturing the finished look of each. Anyone have or know of some pictures showing finished installs involving rooms with beadboard wainscot?0 -

True to form, I'll be running to Home Dumpo tonight to grab a book on finish carpentry. Maybe I'll stumble across a few ideas.
