Is there an RF outdoor reset?

that used radio signals to communicate with the indoor control panel. We have an installation where it would be nearly impossible to run a wire continuously from the boiler room to any outside wall. Any suggestions? Thanks, Luke Lefever

Here's one, but it specifically states "commercial and industrial sized equipment"

Mike- where did you see that on Fireye's site? I don't find anything. Called them, they say they don't have anything, but that I should call Heat Timer in New Jersey. They have it (for $17,000) as part of an integrated boiler control system. Any other suggestions out there? Thanks, Luke

Looks like I took \"remote\" too literally...

"The E340 Boiler Control is a micro-processor based Boiler Management System designed to interface with existing Fireye Flame-Monitor and D-Series Flame Safeguard control systems, as well as competitive flame safeguard control systems. It consists of a chassis, plug-in programmer module, plug-in keypad/display module, for system configuration and display of system setpoints and operating parameters), wiring base, solid state sensors steam, gas, and oil pressure; fuel oil, stack, outdoor air, and water temp.), and remote communication software."

Other than this, my web search struck out. Hard to imagine a basement where you can't get out somewhere and distances are quite liberal as long as you're not using the mechanical type with capillary tube and sensing bulb.

The installation is a church, with newly finished basement surrounding the boiler room. Both Burnham boilers are leaking, if we can't get them to stop leaking with dope, then they are looking at replacement. I would encourage them to go with condensing, in which case we can go up the chimney with the 18-2 necessary for the outdoor sensor. I guess someone will eventually make one- but not yet. Thanks for the advice, Luke
