Well I just wanted to give you guys an update On my 2pipe vapor system that You guys helped me revive to its original glorious state. With the help of Steamhead, Mad Dog and the rest. I finally got around to calculating my Oil savings this year. It was 400 gallons!!!!!!! And last year I prepaid so I saved over $1600 over the previous winter which was our first. The best part was we were able to turn the heat up 7 degrees from 65 up to 72. This temp is were we had to keep it due to the new baby. The system is also as quiet as a church mouse. All I had to do was get rid of the 2 tiny dole vents on the main and add 2 Gorton #2's. The dry return had no vents at all so I added 2 more Gorton's and a new Hoffman 75 that I had laying around. Did I mention the Rads get piping hot in 20 minutes!!! This is all with a 50+ year old boiler. I cant thank you guys enough. You have greatly improved the comfort of my family.

Did you read the fine print?

    Where it says,

"All those involved in providing solutions to homeowner's heating problems on Holohan;'s "Wall," shall be entitled to the adult beverage of their choosing"?

    No?

I didn't either but... That's great! Thanks for sharing that one with us.

    Ken,
I couldnt agree more with you and when they day comes (maybe at a future Wetstock) I will fufill my obligation on the adult beverages. The savings will happen every year that this house stands so does that mean i would have to comply with this rule on an annual basis?

I did this to my system at the end of Janurary and my Feb. gas bill was $57, 75% less than Janurary's bill (I live in northwest Michigan by the way).
