Was a thread deleted?

... I wonder if it was deleted for some reason. It was a very recent thread, although I can't think of the name or even topic. The gist of it was, someone who owns a business with two employees stated that he pays them $35 an hour, plus generous bennies. I was curious what city/state he was located, because I live in a high cost of living state, and wages in the trade are nowhere near that figure. (I did assume, perhaps wrongly, that his is a non-union shop. If he is union, then that amount sounds more in line.) Anyway, I posed the question last night, and checked in tonight to see if there was a reply, but the thread seems to have disappeared. Maybe Dan deleted it? Or maybe the thread topic was something unrelated and I just can't find it.
