This guy is a legend here in the Bay Area. After World Way II, he installed most of the quality radiant systems in all the homes that baby boomers were building and many of the systems are still working well.

This is one thermostat he installed with his name on it. Three wires that operate Flair zone valves that power to open, power to close. Hydrotherm boiler with copper tubing in the ceiling plaster.
