\"Closely spaced Tee's\"

This may be a really stupid question, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere so here goes. I am working on repiping my old system to use P/S piping with a new boiler. Does it matter if my "Tees" connecting the Primary to the Secondary are on a vertical pipe, or does it need to be horizontal. The way my old return piping is set up, this would be ideal.
