Webster Steam system...Help!!!

I ran across an older American Standard steam boiler today connected to a 2 pipe system. I'm more familiar with single pipe systems. Behind the boiler is a Webster boiler return trap Size 0023-A, above it is a Webster dirt strainer #0023 and to the right of these is a Webster vent trap #0023. On the exit side of the rads are Warren-Webster traps #02H and in the basement on some return lines are several Webster #723, H-1 traps. Does anybody know about this type of system and can offer any advise when replacing the boiler? Is this a vapor/vacuum system? I imagine it advisable to replace the guts of the #02H traps if available. Thanks!!!

If you look in The Library
under Steam Heating you'll find the complete Webster catalog with full descriptions of the equipment and the system.

Don, that's a Webster Vapor System
in one of several variations. It sounds like it's pretty straightforward Vapor- check out chapter 15 of Lost Art for details.
