Rust in old radiators.

I am building my house & using a hot water system with old cast iron radiators. While water testing for leaks, I have noticed some of the radiators are very rusty inside. I have blown them out with air, & flushed them out with water - a lot has come out. I am worried though that some large chunks will become dislodged while the heating system is in operation and damage a circulator. What should I do? Is there a filter system I can install?

Here's two company's that make products.
First is Spirotherm, maker of the infamous spirovent, also make a dirt separator calle the Spirotrap,

Another company is Garber Filters, known for their spin on fuel oil filters. They have a replacement boiler filter. Unfortunatly, they don't have info on their website, butI have seen magazine ads for it. E-mail them for more info.

Please note I have not used either of these products, I'm just aware they are out there.0 -

install wye strainers before pump if circulator is pulling. if pumping away ,not necessary , garbage will end up in boiler.0
