Auto Mag uses a DC coil if you wanted to stay with a DC source, You could contact them about the voltage range allowable. Auto Mag are normally open so it may not be a match.

    One of the Electro Zone zone valves is sticking...are there any suppliers that still have these available for replacement

    It's a 20 Volt DC,.65 AMP Zone Valve
