These large brass impellers came off of some B&G circulators that had lived a full life of GPM production "with no complaints". I wanted them to live a awhile longer as something useful. I cut them in half, or as they say in the south, Cut'em half in two". (The largest impeller was from a series 1510 base-mounted. List price was $1850.00)

Took them to a powder coat facility, and mounted them on some simple wood patterns. I wish you could see the beauiful brass veins that churned out so much H2o. The powder coat kind of masks it in the picture.

I had three differeent impellers, so now, I am going to find a worthy home for one or two of them. Not pictured in these photo's is my lovely wife shaking her head "knowingly" in that I apparently have "issues".

I'm hoping my hydronic friends understand......
Also, I saved these JPEG's at 50% resolution so they won't take as long to load.
