Air admittance valves and the WSSC Plumbing code

the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission has adopted the International Residential Code plumbing code? I read that this was in the works, but I don't know if they've done it yet. Also, does anyone know if air admittance valves are allowed in lieu of vents in the WSSC's area of authority? Thanks in advance for any replies!
