toilet flush problem

I have just installed a new american standard toilet with a "flush mate". The toilet is installed in a new basement with a new sewer injection system. The toilet does not flush well at all and I ran through the diagnostics listed on the instructions and found no problem. Do you know if this toilet is a good toilet? Does it work with a sewer injector in a basement? Should a get a new brand of toilet. Thanks Jeff

i turned the plunger clockwise untill it started to fill the tank. There is plenty of water coming out real strong yet it seems like it has nowhere to go and flushes weakly. thanks

    Did you?

Use a deep wax seal??? Could be it got squished or shifted during install. Is the ejector working? When you flush, do alot of bubbles come up? Robert O'Connor/NJ

if it is the one with the little yellow float here is a few things the tech rep had me do. use a coat hanger to clear the holes under the rim, make sure the float is sitting on top of the flapper and the chain should have no more than 1/4" play. mine worked a little better, however they are sending me an extention to raise the water level.

Biged, the flushmate is a pressure assisted toilet, theres no flapper. Is the ejector vented properly ??

I would look at the pump

    Did you install it ?

If the water level is to high in the tank it cold create back preasure on the toilet when it trys to flush. Check the float in the atnk and make sure the level of water is below the inlet from the WC.

I also agree with checking the vent on the tank. If the tank is not vented the WC has no place to displace the air when it flushs.

Preasure assisted WC usually have very little touble flushing.
