but I need something field-installed. Preferably with a full-size tee so that you can see the waterline while skimming. Thanks.

here is a couple

the skim is off the outlet tee from the side outlet risers.. one we got fancy and piped to a drain..actually they are both piped to a drain..the arlington picture the skim pipe is the right side tee tho we also used a tee on the left side tho noone will probably ever skim it from that side.
