Special 4th of July-PGP

I went to the Seattle Center to watch 512 new Americans (from 70 countries) be sworn in as US citizens this morning. My old business partner (Sheldon) was one of them. (Imagine a Canook wanting to move South!) Couldn't help but get choked up as the ceremony proceeded. It was a very moving experience. We often take for granted the freedoms others might want to take away. This is truly what this country is about.
And to make this a really patriotic and historic occaision, I'll be celebrating the birth of another grandchild by the end of the day...It's gonna be a boy, and I presume he'll be a firecracker.

Can't think of a better way to celebrate Independence Day than to watch your friend become a citizen then celebrate the birth of a grandchild!! Does it get any better? Congratulations on both counts!
