Hydronic Air Units (Heat/cool)
Hi All,
I'm working on a large log home project in VT. We're doing a couple of floors of radiant, then the top floor without radiant.
Initially we had wanted to use Hydro-Air units from http://www.bio-radiant.com/ (these are not the more common Hydro Air ducted units you may be thinking of). They were very attractive to use because we could supply supplemental heat to areas that needed it, primary heat to the top floor, and cooling throughout the house with several of these units. Additionally, they fit into stud walls, and provide both heating and cooling via water, so we didn't have to figure out how to run ductwork to that upstairs floor, we just needed to run some more PEX.
Unfortunately, the company seems to be going through some turmoil at the moment so using their product is not possible. Does anyone know of any other units that supply point-of-use heating and cooling via PEX lines? Does anyone have other suggestions that don't involve ductwork?
Thanks in advance for your research assistance!!

We are using a couple of IEC units in a similar application.
