Hydronic Explorer 2 free heat loss calculation software will be available within the next few weeks! Our Beta testing is now complete and we are in the process of having CDs burned.
HE2 will will include the same, easy-to-use heat loss calculation engine along with a few additions -
1. A simple radiant floor heating module for calculating tubing requirements, supply temperature, floor surface temperature, auxillary heating requirements, etc.
2. A Slant/Fin Terra Therma radiant heating products parts list form.
3. An elegant Boiler Proposal Form to use when specifiying S/F boilers to your customers.
Additionally, along with an overall tweaking of the program, HE2 will include some very major improvements in function, support and the way we distribute the software -
1. As with the original Hydronic Explorer, you will be able to request a free HE2 CD. Additionally, you will be able to download HE2 directly from the S/F website!
2. HE2 will be distributed and supported through a dedicated HE2 website, where user tips, tutorials, FAQs and other useful information will be made available.
3. HE2 includes a powerful update function! As tweaks and patches are made available, you will be able to download them directly from the S/F server via an easy-to-use update function built into HE2. The downloaded tweaks/patches install automatically.
4. An export/import function that enables you to move HE2 heat loss/job data easily from PC to PC, even via email!
5. And last but not least, like the original version, HE2 will be FREE!
We are very excited about the new HE2 software - we hope that you will find it useful! Expect a formal announcement on heatinghelp.com this month when HE2 is ready to go!
