    Plus shower

In the Northeast of China, still very Asian but with Western style toilet. The water truck comes twice a day and fills your 20-30 gallon reservoir and heating is district hot water.

    China

Go ahead and laugh. Once China completes it's industrialization with with the complete help and financing of US taxpayers, US politicians, and US business, there won't be any decent jobs left in the US or Canada and China will be the only superpower as we won't be able to support ourselves. Communist domination.

Nothing happens very quickly in a population of 1.2 Billion with 10,000 years of history and culture. Perhaps I am naive,I don't find helping a neighbour takes away from the our inherent strengths - teach others what you do and move ahead to what you can do. Enjoy.....Dan

    I agree

    Dan,
I agree with you I am old enough to remember the so called Japanese threat to our economy, the present threat from China is much more tolerable than their presence in Korea and Viet Nam, eventually there people will move up the economic scale and become world wide consumers along with their burgeoning exporting ability.
Along with their hunger for jobs will come a hunger for modernization. We are dealing with this process and will adjust as we always have!

    Your right

Ken, we'll have to send all our boilers, toilets, faucets, cars, SUV's and anything else to China for service.

We'll have to pull up to Beijing for gas, oil changes and new windshield wipers.

We'll have to take our roofs off and ship them to China to get re-shingled.

We'll have to run to China to pick up that late night quart of milk.

We'll----oh you get the idea. No country will go under because another one prospers. Free will and free enterprise will keep us going a good long time.
