ready to go to bed last night and it was time for a story.

They usally pick out a story to read but I thought, its time to start reading something a little more than Mike Mulligan ( my favorite ).

So I said " Tonight Dad picks out the book ". Lets see, what do I have hmmmmm How about Dan Holohan's " Working ".

I opened up to the story about Billy and Ray and the H.O. who got a " good price ". I had to change some of the words alittle, but they laughed about Billy having to use the can, and throwing the bucket of fittings at the boss. After that my oldest said " read another one". So I flipped thru the book and came upon Nathan and Mark and the job they did for the Multi millionair, was it Mr. Blackwell ?

I read those two storys just by chance but they could'nt have been better. When I was done my youngest was asleep ( critic ? ) but his older brother was wide awake. I asked him if he got the point about work. " Ya Dad, the other two guys did a lousy job and the other guys did a good job ". I the told him thats how we do work, neat and clean. He then wanted to know if work really was fun and could he help me on my next job.

Thanks Dan, I could'nt have made the message any clearer. It was so great to see the light shining in his eyes.
