tankless water heater

I have a two part question.
First off what do you think of tankless water heaters vs. the standard 40-50 gallon water heater. not so much efficiency but output of hot water.
second.... I have a hot water heating system with cast iron radiators. do they make a tankless water heater that can go on the return side of the heating system? and would this improve heating efficiency and or speed up the the system to cycle hot water faster?
thanx

for two questions
First, it depends on how you use hot water and the model of tankless.
Second, if I had a hot water heating system, I would have an indirect water heater tied into the boiler. Three reasons; longest lifetime, highest output plus storage, high efficiency.0
