These guy's really know how to put on a tour/trip. Cast iron factory was incredible, the automation of making the large sections is an amazing feat. Just got home last night from Frankfurt so have not had time to post pics yet. Will do it soon. Also got to spend a few extra days after and drive down to Stroussburg France and into Alsace wine region. Great time. I could not thank Buderus enough. Tim

    emissions noise

Just one beef about the Buderus. Why do they feel the need to offer an emissions muffler on their oil fired residential boilers. If they know that the emissions are noisy shouldn't it be a packaged item. Installed one o/f Buderus w' Riello in Sommerville Ma. The basement was wide open w' very little storage. The acoustic bounce was quite loud. So much so that I had to install the 'muffler' @ my expense. I liked everything else, the 'log' control, the easy access to the boiler sections... Mufflers should be standard!
