Here's a real life example of time saved by using press type fittings.

We were called to move 3, 3/4" copper lines that were in the way of a sprinkler main being installed in a factory we service. These lines were above a ceiling and had to have a 2' section cut, elevated about 16", offset one line and then come back down to meet the old level. A total of 22 fittings were used. Drew called me on the cell phone ALL pumped up about it and told me the total job took less than 1/2 hour from the time they (2 guys) drained the piping til the time they purged it back out. This was working off the top of an 8' ladder through a suspended ceiling grid. With a torch and solder I estimated the job time to be an hour for just the piping not including drain, fill and purge. It was the first time he had used the ProPress on a job.
