I'm a small business owner in New England. I do full heating and A/C. I've been a one man show going on my fifth year in business. I get a second pair of hands when needed. I'm looking for a someone who is motivated to install, service residential HVAC. I'm not looking for an employee. A decent contractor who is insurable,(licensed) and can not only spin a wrench but understands the principles of heating and cooling. Someone who knows what a Delta T is. Like Dan says, someone who can explain a btu to a child. The name of my co. is Every Job Guaranteed, the 'lovely Phyllis' came up w' that one, (also my initials). The right contractor will have technical ability to troubleshoot, fix and explain. I have way more work than I can handle but I'm not looking for a speedy guy looking for a quick buck. Serious minded, experienced technicians that have been pondering the great unknown of self employment, in the suburban Boston area where are you?
