Injection pumping and flow checks

I like to use dual pumps off a single tekmar 362 Var speed control to provide built in back up or extra flow capacity over a single pump. In order for the back up concept to work, you need flowchecks or check valves on the pump outlet.

You folks been seeing any problems with flowchecks on injection pumps at low pump speeds. I understand many use them to help prevent ghost flows that still seem to occure despite P/S piping. I expect check valves would tend to be less problematic due to lower head needs to open valve, but I would like to simplify piping and begn using flow check flanges or pumps.

The attached picture shows the piping layout... the dual injection pumps are those in the foreground
