    UK time.

Oh well it had to happen.
There is a new EU directive here in the UK, they want to change to a metric clock!
25 hours in one day, 50 minutes in an hour & 50 sec in a minute.
So by 2025, Xmas will be on 6th of June and a weeks holiday will only be 3 days!
    Watch this space.
    Kind regards

    Longest Day

    I thought it was June 6 1944.

I would have posted yesterday but I was off to Stonehenge with my Druid pals.

    Metric clock.

It gets even better. As a result of the new metric clock, all the stones at Stonehenge, are to be dug up and moved to be re-alined for the new 25hour day. So now mid-summer will be on the 21st of November.
Also as a result, we will be meeting each other coming back from church on Sunday morning, as we are go out to the Pub on a Saturday night!

Thanks to all for joining in on the fun.
    Regards.

    P.S. Don't dis the Druids!

DIS them?? I said they were my pals. I've been known to howl at the moon myself. Good luck moving the rocks. I know that some are aligned with sunup of the solstice. Some engineer will probably blow the Nov. 21st realignment and all hell will break loose. More work for the barristers. Like they need it. AAOOOOOOHH!

What's the new metric baseword for a unit of time? Wheels aren't turning right now so I'll turn over to the crazy ironics on the wall. How about a "Henge". Milli...centa....kilohenge....hmmmmm

    Meatloaf.

    Tom.
Is Meatloaf a Druid? He is into the same sort of thing or was that just an old video from the eighties?
Thanks for all your input. I'll ensure the head of the EU in Brussels is kept up to speed, with all developments.
    Kind regards.

    Castellated board.

Weezbo. We use castellated board (egg box type polystyrene floor panel) or a 'Tacker' panel (a polystyrene panel with a fabric re-enforced laminate top section that has grid printed on it for pipe centres).
Have a wee look for yourself at www.jablite.co.uk Look for UFH panels.
Staple Up or Down is not used here in the jolly old UK.

Now if you're in the know about the UK, you'll know that it's OK to walk into a Pub and ask for a FAG. And you would not inquire as to a young ladies FANNY.
    Regards.
